Health and Safety

We have a dedicated QHSE department championed by a senior manager and supported by a safety co-ordinator and team of environmental representatives.

We are committed to the prevention of accidents and ill health in the workplace and we adhere to all applicable safety legislation.

We are currently working to improve our safety management system to achieve certification to OHSAS 18001:2007.

Environmentally Friendly

Hydro Group are eco-friendly and very aware of any impact we make on the environment, our state-of-the-art facilities was custom built incorporating sustainability elements such as insulation, ample natural daylight, energy efficient compressed air system, space/water heating, natural ventilation, smart control systems (timers, sensors) and surface water drainage soakaways.

Hydro Group are committed to DfE (design for environment) principles demonstrated by our well integrated engineering design and manufacturing/production teams in order to minimize the environmental impact of our product realisation processes.

Hydro Group has installed a 50KW roof mounted Solar PV System with an annual generation capacity of 38,440 KWH Per Annum. The system is accredited under the ‘’Microgeneration Certification Scheme’’.

We pride that we purchase all of our electricity from a green energy supplier (100% of the electricity we use comes from renewable sources).

We operate and implement an environmental management system certified to ISO 14001:2004 (LRQA). The system is championed by a senior manager and supported by a team of environmental representatives.
